This recital was the world premiere of Evan Christopher's new work entitled "The Faubourg Variations." Featured artists included Jon-Erik Kellso (trumpet) and New Orleans living legends Brian Seeger, David Torkanowsky, Roland Guerin and Herlin Riley.
A grant recipient of Chamber Music America’s 2018 New Jazz Works award, The Faubourg Variations by Evan Christopher featuring his "Clarinet Road" ensemble was funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
