About This Event:
For the first of four, one-hour presentations about hearing jazz on deeper levels, Evan addresses ways to develop a taste (and an ear) for surprises: Learn how musicians set up your rhythmic and melodic expectations in order to lead you on their spontaneous adventures.
This course is hosted by Jazz at Lincoln Center and marks their return to in-person "Swing University" programming.
